Sound check!

Sweetie, it's school, not a club. I can't count how many times I've watched a girl go by with a skirt, high heels, full makeup and hair done. Seriously?! I applaud myself if I'm able to remember socks in the morning. It makes me wonder how early they have to get up in the morning in order to get all of this done before their classes. You're not impressing anyone, so stop trying so hard. I don't even have time to eat breakfast and pack food. And I have half a mind to go to school with pjamas underneath my sweatpants. I live in leggings and yoga pants. Most comfortable articles of clothing ever. I can't even remember the last time I wore real pants. Maybe back in September? Probably. If I'm feeling really adventureous, I'll wear my leather boots ;). I think the majority of the school has completely given up on trying to dress to impress. As long as we make it to our classes on time, what does it matter? Althought I suppose the buisness kids have to dress nicer...

Speaking of dressing for school, I am currently stuck wearing all black for the next 2 and a half weeks. Why? Because I'm stage crew for a Drama production my school is putting on. It's mandatory work, and is worth 25% of my Drama class's final mark. But it's not too bad. For the first act, I stand back stage right and make sure that the actors get their props and hold the curtain for them. It's dark and I'm by myself, but not too bad. For the second act, I'm working the trap. This means that I am under the stage wearing a headset and opening a trap door that leads up to the stage floor. Again, easy work. This happens every day from 5:30pm to 11pm, 6 days a week. Which means that I currently don't have any time to work on my projects or study a lot for classes (I need my textbooks with me but they're too heavy to bring to school). Not that I'm complaining. The people on the crew are super nice and the actors are really friendly too, which makes everything a lot easier when I'm at school for 15 hours. And the play itself is awesome. I wish I could see it with all the effects.

I think the real tragedy here is I don't have time to paint my nails. My poor chipped nail polish.

I am really looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow, skipping my morning class (fingers crossed we're watchinga movie) and going in late. Hopefully that helps with my sleep deprivation.
